Community is word that very much sums up our school.
Husbands Bosworth Primary School is like a family and we are keen to get involved with local projects within our village and beyond. At Husbands Bosworth Primary School we are aiming to develop our children’s knowledge and understanding of becoming global citizens.
We work closely with Childreach International and partake in global projects such as story telling. Through Childreach International, we have developed a link with a school in India, called Sri Venkateshwar. This partnership helps our children to understand other countries, cultures and lifestyles. We enjoy exchanging work and letters.
We also have further links with a school in Italy called Don Milani School.
We have recently achieved the Full International School Award. Read all about our activities on our International School Award page.

Each year our school supports the Children in Need charity. This year our children came dressed in spotty clothing and baked cakes to sell.
Comic Relief 2017
On Friday 24th March 2017 the parents and children of the school and the HB Tots group managed to raise £192.22 for Comic relief by having a non-uniform day and cake sale. A fabulous effort!
Recently, children from years 3-6 took part in the largest school concert in the world- Young Voices. The school spent the whole day rehearsing at the LG Arena in Birmingham and performed as part of a 5,000 children choir in the evening. The children were very lucky to hear the African Children’s choir sing!
